Very quaint pub and hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very good.

I liked the rural location . Reception staff good:

The breakfast ordering system good in that it is cooked/ prepped for individuals but I didn’t get my fruit compote and toast means just one slice.

Excellent breakfast. Pleasant position in centre of pretty village. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

I am not sure how this can be avoided, as it is a pub, but all the rooms have outdoor seating outside or below the windows. Not an issue on a cool evening. Could access wifi but the reception was almost non-existent.

Dinner was fabulous, breakfast very good, coffee lukewarm.

Room 1 has a very low ceiling beam. I was warned about it but still had the bruise after 4 days!! Bathroom lovely though!

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, the manageress was excellent as were her staff. We had an amazing meal and a wonderful breakfast. Beds were comfortable with quality bedding and pillows. Lovely bathroom products , a nice change from Bramley will certainly be staying again

My only criticism was i couldn't get any hot water from my over head shower so had to use the handheld. But everything else about Room 2 was lovely.

The food served was excellent and a good choice was available, serving staff were excellent and very helpful. The hotel is in a lovely location and also a lovely place to stay.

The room we booked at the time was the only room available it was a little on the small side but neat and tidy if in the area again would love to stay in the main hotel.
