733 Costa Cabral Metro Residence

The house is in a nice location and the hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. They showed the house and the facilities in detail - something that had never experienced before. The pool was very good and it was great to dip in the water after a warm day travelling.

There were only a couple of things that were not that good. One was that the house had a lot of humidity and likewise it was very difficult to dry any clothes or even just the wet floor after a shower. I had the air conditioner and air dryer on all the time to help out with this problem. The other issue was the free parking space. It is stated that there is free parking space but it's misleading. What it means is that there is free parking nearby in the street wherever you can find not that the property offers parking.

The location is amazing for being outside of the city center, access to great a Churrasqueira, 3 supermarkets, and a metro station all on the same street and all within 300-400 meters from the apartment was great! The pool was a great amenities and all guests made use of the pool at some point during the stay. The staff was top notch! Jonathan went above and beyond to help us during our stay and has the guests needs at the forefront.

We stayed in the 733 loft bed garden apartment. We thought the bunk bed would be great for our 4 year old son. What a mistake that was! The 733 loft bed unit is plagued with a serious moisture issue. Everything metal in the apartment was rusting and paint flaking off. The mattress felt moist, the walls had growth and the cabinet under the kitchen sink has a horrible mildew smell emanating. Then the slamming of the doors each time someone enters or exits made it difficult for us to get sleep. Your experience at this house fully depends on what unit you end up booking. Do not stay in the 733 loft bed garden apartment. The owners should consider closing that unit for full restoration and resolve the moisture issue properly not with a dehumidifier. Look to stay in a pool house in the back or a high floor for better living conditions. We ended up switching to a pool house unit and it was 10’s across the board. All units are very minimalist and will leave you looking for a toilet paper roll holder, soap holder. You will be expected to bend over to the floor to access the bath soap. Based on the detailed instructions in case of flooding, my guess is that there was a water incident that flooded 733 loft bed unit and the issue was not properly addressed.

The swimming pool was a great addition and most guests made use of it at some point during the stay. The pool house is hands down the best selection to make when choosing this apartment. They have other rooms available but the pool house is private and has a good layout as its footprint is wider than all the other rooms in the main house. The pool house is clean, doesn’t have any moisture issues and offers great lighting and privacy with tinted windows and blackout curtains. The staff was out of the world, Jonathan went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We started the stay at the 733 loft bed garden unit and that was terrible until we were able to switch to the pool house. If you are thinking of staying here you must go for the pool house option! You will not be disappointed! We stayed with our 4 year old son and he had a blast!

The minimalist design left us in need of a place to hang the toilet paper, place our soap, and toiletries. They don’t have trash collection service and ask guests to carry the trash outside to a community garbage collection area which to their defense, is nearby. They also don’t have a safe in the room to keep valuables.

The property was well situated for getting into the centre of the city with a short walk to the frequent Metro. The young gentleman who greeted us on arrival was very helpful - especially the map of the centre with areas of interest highlighted.

There was nothing to dislike!

Comfortable, excellent location, polite staff, nice pool

The pool was lovely and easy to access. There was clear info on how to use everything in the apartment. The terrace area was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. WiFi was great.

We stayed for one week and it rained heavily for mostly 5 days of the 7 we were there. This meant the apartment was very damp unfortunately. I would recommend having some more damp and mould deterrent measures in place!
