The Portland Guesthouse

Our room was lovely although the bathroom was tiny but very nice as it looked like it had been refurbished not long ago.

Lack of interaction with staff

It’s pretty close to amenities and food within walkable distance. Clean room and comfy bed

Since there are no lifts, we had to carry up our luggages (2 cabin size luggages & 2 duffle bags) to our room on the top floor. That was a little difficult for us.

We didn’t stay here, i cancelled my booking as it appeared that staff weren’t always on site and breakfast was not served

No cooked breakfast facilities

Clean tidy

Comfortable overnight stay close to our destination/function. Breakfast was simple but comprehensive.

The parking arrangements were cumbersome and inconvenient.

We have stayed here three times now, and all have been good. A very short walk into the town centre for restaurants.

It’s a shame they no longer do a cooked breakfast but I understand the economics of their decision, and it is priced accordingly

Lovely bed and location. Would stay again.
