Distilia Dimora Salentina

The facilities are very esthetic and inspiring with great design. The inner garden offers a peaceful and visually pleasing environment with a pool area and not only. There is also a very nice large terrace on the roof top, where you can enjoy the sun or the evening. The hospitality was outstanding. Dario picked us up from the Lecce train station, which made our arrival stress-free and was helpful in providing any information we needed. Each morning we were greeted with croissants, home baked cake, fresh fruits and delicious coffee served by Lilla. Dario and Lilla, thank you for that :). The neighborhood is very local, with few tourists, which allowed us enjoy the culture of San Cesario di Lecce. As to practicalities, there is Coop market 2 minutes walking distance. Food lovers must visit the pizza restaurant Le Pizzecate: https://restaurantguru.com/Le-Pizzecate-San-Cesario-di-Lecce . Giuseppe, the owner, made our dining experience truly special with his warm hospitality and delicious food.

We chose the property for the swimming pool facility, however we couldn’t use the pool due lack of maintenance. Water green full of algae. Very disappointed

Clean and as expected! Room was spacious and the village where it was located was nice. We were received by Dario, friendly and great help.

The lady host does not make you feel welcome.

The friendliest hosts ever! So much attention and help! We enjoyed our stay and used all the facilities in the building! Great design and big rooms, it looks as good in real life as on the pictures. Sauna and jacuzzi were a pleasant bonus! All in all it was a perfect place to spend our holiday.

Everything was great, no complaints

we just spent 6 weeks traveling through southern Europe and without a doubt this was the best hotel we stayed in. We loved the location . just outside of Lecce it was the perfect base to explore the heel of Italy . the town itself is historic and we spent many evenings just walking around and absorbing it . The hotel itself is beautifully designed and very comfortable. We stayed on the top fooor in a studio with a huge private terrace. bed was great and the view across the rooftops was fantastic. The hosts are amazing . when we arrived Lila brought us a fresh bowl of cut up melon and salty snacks. So friendly, Dario answered all our questions and recommended several restaurants and even the best beach . the pool is small but so relaxing to sit and read and cool off . I cannot recommend this hotel enough. We definitely will return.

my only complaint is the Internet was a bit sketchy on the top floor. Definitely recommend a booster for the upper floors .

Distilia Dimora is a delightful, gem of a place in a small town just outside of Lecce. It was quick and easy to get to Lecce for visits but we loved the peaceful surroundings of Distilia Dimora. We were really well looked after by our hosts and Dario suggested and booked some great restaurants for us and recommended some fantastic things to do. There are plenty of different spaces for guests to enjoy such as rooftops with views of lovely buildings and neighbouring fruit trees as well as the pool and garden area. Our room was very spacious and clean with a well appointed kitchen. We can highly recommend this wonderful, friendly and special little hotel.
