Very comfortable well designed space

The property was beautiful, all features had been sympathetically restored and the heritage of the property was clearly visible but with all the modern facilities you would need. Lilia and Dario were beyond brilliant as hosts - beautiful people who couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. We will definitely recommend to others!!

Nothing, just not being able to stay longer!

The hotel is beautiful and well-renovated, with a lot of interesting furniture and decorations. There's also a beautiful garden with a swimming pool, as well as open access to the terrace on the top of the building. People working at Distilia Dimora Salentina are friendly and welcoming. The city itself is the suburbs of Lecce, it could be more interesting, yet it's nice to take a relaxing stroll on one of the evenings and see how locals live there. On top of that, it's quite a good strategic location to explore Salento without staying at a bigger city like Lecce, but you 100% need a car for that. It's relatively easy to find a parking spot close to the hotel, at least in the low season. There's a great restaurant named Small Cucina just across the street. It’s quite hard for me to rate the place because our bad experience is 100% based of the specific room (Melissa) we stayed in.

We had a room with close to 0 soundproofing. It was on the first floor right close to reception, so we could hear everything, literally every word said when someone checked in or checked out. We got lucky that it was a low season yet, I can't imagine staying in that room when the hotel is full. The room was also connected to another room, behind the closed wooden door, with 0 soundproofing as well. And it doesn't really feel nice that someone can open that door from the other side any time. On top of that, the bed area has extremely stuffed air, which makes it almost impossible to sleep well (and I'm not a light sleeper, rather the opposite), The room is built that way that the bed is almost under the ceiling, on the second floor, so all the warm air goes up, making the sleep unbearable, and even the air conditioning doesn't help. On top of that, you can't really open the window as it's facing the courtyard – when someone is smoking there, all the smoke goes to your window, when people are walking/talking there, the echo makes the sound x3 louder. That was just the opposite of the relaxing and calm experience one would expect to have in such a place. I had a really bad sleep for 3 nights in a row, and we stayed at the hotel as little as possible while exploring Salento.

Excellent breakfast. Very varied and generous.

The parking was on the street atleast a hundred yards away.

Absolutly Everything. The space, the pool area, the furniture and the breakfast are gorgeous.

It is our 2 time in dimora. The house is awesome, the pool area is well designed, the breakfast is exellent! The host is very welcoming and helpful! Lilia we miss you already! Thank you!

Probably the most beautiful and original design of a accommodation we’ve stayed in. Beautiful evenings on the rooftop. 15 mins to Lecce by car. We wish we could stay longer.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was very well designed. The private balcony area was really nice and we had dinners there with a lovely sunset views of Lecce. Highly recommend this place
