Rooms had a strange odour shared living area felt grubby maybe wash cushions and have a cover on the communal sofa that can be washed after each guest

No staff, small and dingy and not in a very nice area, even the taxi driver was reluctant to collect and drop off from the street this is on

The property was in an ideal location. The room was airy, very clean and came with extras like a fan, mini fridge and hairdryer. The beds also have fleece blankets as extra which was a bonus in this warm weather when a duvet would have been too much. The communication was also brilliant from start to finish.

Room 4 at the weatherdene guest house is spacious well decorated and unsuite, with a strong shower. But the plugs to the right side of the bed didn't work.

I was disappointed with the stay. The towels were wet and smelled, so I had to take them to wash at the laundrette before we used them. The kitchen and other amenities in the property were not available to room 4. 😑 We ended up eating out, which made our budget get away a bit more expensive than I would have liked.

Website describes property as self catering and Trivago says The Weatherdene offers a cosy b and b style accommodation. Neither of these were evident during our stay. There we no catering facilities, nowhere to cook or wash up or any shared kitchen facilities.We had a small room with two single beds, a small chest of drawers and a built in wardrobe together with a toilet shower and washbasin. There was a minute table top fridge which would be full with just a pint carton of milk. The kettle would not fit under the tap in the bathroom so a small jug had to be supplied to fill the kettle. WiFi code listed incorrectly in the information folder. We had to phone to get the correct code. Parking information was not completed. One website states that there is a car park which was not evident. Booking procedure was over complicated with having to pay a security deposit (although some information sent to us indicated that this was not necessary) also photo ID had to be downloaded and when we arrived and got the keycode at the last moment we had to unlock TWO doors with different keys and then another to enter our room. The whole process was judged to be impersonal.
