Buxton Crescent

Beautiful stay, Beautiful hotel. Staff very accommodating. The spa is one of the best i have ever been in - it is Beautiful. The bar is very well stocked with very friendly staff - especially 2 who gave us advice on different places to visit upon that advice we visited Poole cavern and walked around the local woods thank you Ruth and Evelyn for your advice! The cocktails on offer are wonderful and made to order. The restaurant staff are very friendly and work tirelessly to give you 5 star treatment and food was certainly that. We loved our stay and will be back.

Wonderful stay from start to finish. Natasha when booking was brilliant and Amy and Keira lovely on checkin/reception. This is my fav hotel the rooms are spacious we had room 118 and my daughters 122 .. just lovely !! The roof pool is the best … perfect overnight getaway. Mary & Rob Smedley, Macclesfield. X

An excellent hotel, with well trained staff who do listen to you. Great breakfasts with a wide choice of fresh food. Our room was spacious and decently appointed. Only a couple of small points. Emergency exit points would be easier to navigate if they were a bit better signed on the exit route, and perhaps you could reassure guests about the parking arrangements. My wife was worried on this issue. Otherwise a great place to stay. We have tried, over the years, most hotels in Buxton; and Buxton Crescent is the outstanding one!

Outstanding hotel and spa, not only is the hotel spotlessly clean it is beautifully decorated. The spa in our opinion is one of the best we have ever experienced, with 3 indoor pools and 1 outdoor. Despite the rain we loved sitting in the outdoor pool and hot tub. The water is actually mineral water and so you don’t smell of chlorine all day. We have signed up to their membership scheme and will definitely return.

The good - Great location - Friendly, welcoming staff both at Reception and in the dining room - Lovely toiletries in the rooms - Comfortable bed - Great breakfast Not so good - We had a Classic Room but there was no dressing table, or even a table, in our room so nowhere to put anything - The only mirrors were in the wardrobe and bathroom. There was a small one tucked behind the TV but there was nowhere to put it - Hardly any storage so we had to keep things in our cases - Very little shelf space in the bathroom - More hooks needed in the bathroom to hang damp or wet towels

This is an amazing hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms are well designed & comfortable and the spa is incredible!

We stayed here for our anniversary. We had an attic room, which was just as described. Bed was comfy and there was water in the room along with some macarons. Hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed the pools. We ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and both were great. We also had lunch in the Darwin bar and this was tasty too. We had drinks in the Darwin bar later too and it had a very nice relaxing atmosphere.

A repeat visit for us - excellent hot spring pools, good aircon, decent breakfast (although consistently running out of pastries), nice location
