I have been double charged for the room all inclusive by their mistake I'm still waiting for the refund after almost a month and multiple requests , which always recieve a polite answer but no action from their side.

Beautiful, peaceful setting. Enjoyed walking the paths from the property. Spa treatments we had were very good, but in a guest room not in a spa.

The Road to get to the property was awful. The food was mixed - but in our view not Michelin food. Soups and tartare delicious, but fish and veg overcooked and not tasty. Our room was very dimly lit - bathroom lighting very poor.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel magnifique. Tout est incroyable et hors du temps loin du bruit de kandy. Le dîner était incroyable et le vin très bon. Merci beaucoup pour cette nuit inoubliable. J espère que nous reviendrons.

W15 Hanthana Estate A Very Special Place Our stay has been truly exceptional in every way since arriving three days ago. We have stayed in many lovely hotels across the world and never experienced such attention to detail and personal service. Nothing was too much trouble for Sidath and his team (including a very competent chef) reflecting true professionalism. The smiles of kindness from Navod, Manila and Keerthi will have a special place for us on this month tour of Sri Lanka on our motorbikes. We even left with beautifully cleaned motorbikes having arrived with the dirtiest! The location is fabulous with a feeling that you’re on top of the world. Sadly, the weather was a little cool for our time at the estate so we didn’t use the lovely pool. We were however, very happy to sit on the veranda with a book and the view. Our room was delightful, with lovely bathroom touches, delicious chocolates on arrival and the turndown service something to look forward to with a hot water bottle to warm the bed. We don’t want to give anymore away as it may spoil the specialness of a visit should you choose to stay. We can only recommend the hotel and thank everyone at W15 Hanthana for ours. Amazing!

During severe flooding near Kandy in Nov, the hotel provided no safety advice, no assistance, and no alternative accommodation, even after informing me that I could not return to the property. The general manager ignored all my messages during this time. Afterward, the hotel charged my credit card without authorization, billed me for the full stay - factually I only stayed 2 out of 4 booked nights and extras, and has ignored all (5!) my requests for invoices despite multiple emails and messages directly with General Manager and common email. I filed a formal complaint with the hotel, but the so-called “investigation” was one-sided, without considering any of the information I provided. The hotel claimed that it was “my decision” to leave early, but they failed to answer the obvious question: What was I supposed to do when they told me I could not return to the property during the floods? Stay on the streets? There was absolutely no professional responsibility, and no advanced notice that the hotel may be heavily impacted by weather. I cannot recommend this hotel at all. Beautiful location doesn't make up for such critical irresponsible conduct led by General Manager.
