Watercolours

This little place was a nice change from the beach but still had access to several beaches. Right on an estuary with kayaks, canoes and SUP’s free of charge. The place was very well kept and the staff were great. May, the lady front of house was very sweet and friendly and also Yousef the manager was very kind and informative of the surroundings.

Nothing not to like but it’s quiet at night.

I can’t say enough good about our fabulous time at Watercolours. The peaceful location right on a river and also just five minutes from the ocean is ideal. The welcoming deck is full of plants and flowers. The ambiance is magical. The rooms are large, beautifully decorated, and clean with enough space for big beds as well as a couch. The staff aimed to please. They help with everything from providing breakfast and lunch to booking tours to helping set up their free kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. The owner was so kind. When we said the bed for our daughter was too hard, he bought a mattress topper the next day. He doesn’t skimp on anything. Even the shampoo and conditioner are good quality. We loved it and will return.

Watercolours is absolutely amazing place for stay in Koh chang, you have absolutely secret and quait coz in place is only 6 rooms, so you fell like in privet area :) Big thanks to the owner and staff, they make me fell like home 🥹🙏❤️ (ps. Next time i brink more slivovice )

We loved the serene oasis it afforded on the estuary away from the main tourist areas, the vibrant colours and design, the fact that it was small and felt like a relaxing home, great host and staff and all sorts of helpful information for booking trips, and the use of kayaks and scooters.

We liked it all although would recommend use of a scooter to get to see the rest of the island and choice of places to eat. We were there when there wasn’t much beach because of the diurnal tides so had to walk or go on the scooter to get to the beach.

I love this place very much, relaxing atmosphere and calm, lovely decorated, great shower, comfortable bed. Free canoe for guest.

A little bit far away from main road and market. Need to rent motorbike or go canoe to the beach for restaurant and night life.

Nothing but as some reviewers have mentioned the road is a bit of a walk if you don’t have a bike but I alway get a bike

We loved everything about our stay at Watercolours. The location is fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed kayaking down to the beach along the pristine river, the hotel feels like home as you relax in the lounge area overlooking the river, breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff are ready to help you with anything that you need.

Unique location with access to the river as well as the beach. Secluded section of the beach which is not too crowded. Friendly and helpful staff and owners.

The view from the room, the little dock on the river, the free kayaks and SUP, everything was great!
