Mai and Long made the place oh so magical. Can’t say enough about these two. So friendly and helpful, also around for a good laugh.

The hotel was just very beautiful, at the river. It was very relaxing and quite. There was the option of renting a kayak or SUP. The workers and the host were very kind. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and I enjoyed my stay very much. The restaurant also served very good food, and it was also close to other good restaurants, especially the family-led bar directly at the beach, which was only 5 minutes of walking distance.

It was a little bit far away from the small village, like 15 minutes walking distance. But for only 50 baht you could call a taxi.

Nicely located near the mouth of an estuary next to Klong Prao beach, Watercolours is a riverside resort, where guests can watch the world pass by at a leisurely pace. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We enjoyed taking a kayak out for a ride and eating at the restaurant overlooking the waters. The staff were attentive and helpful. Would confidently recommend to others.

Free beach towels and no time limit on using the kayaks and paddle boards without charge would be an improvement.

I loved the resort the minute I walked in. The location is beautiful. It is a 5 minute kayak ride and a 5 minute walk to a beautiful long beach. The resort is on a river. It is so peaceful and near to town and many restaurants. The river was perfect to swim in with lovely views. Quiet deck with stunning views of the river. The room was amazing, big, well designed, private, and so comfortable. The resort was very peaceful, with the small gardens and nature surrounding the resort. The staff made me feel at home. They were so kind and genuine. The menu was limited as you would expect at a small resort. The quality of the food was excellent. It was OK for me.it was convenient if I wanted to eat the resort. There are many great local restaurants that you can walk to from the resort. A few of them were directly on the ocean. It was a great value for the price. It was so nice I changed my stay at another resort from two weeks to one week to spend another week at Water Colours. I rarely give a 10 for a review. I could not find one thing I did not like. When I visit Koh Chang, I will stay at Water Colours.

Very nice place, beautifully located. Not far from the main street, and at the same time there is peace and quiet where you can relax. Delicious breakfasts, very friendly and helpful service. Highly recommended
