amazing apartments - Websters Land - Castle View

The location was fabulous!! Walkable to most everything we wanted to see and do. The castle view was lovely!! The overall setup of the apartment was great, it was well equipped and clean.

The bed was not very comfortable, it could use a good mattress topper. The apartment was quite damp, all of the windows were covered in condensation each morning. The apartment could use an air exchange system or at the very least a dehumidifier unit.

Cute little place and fit our needs perfectly. The view of the castle from the kitchen was beautiful! Loved having a kitchen and also washing machine to do some light loads. Location was great and there is a market near by for snacks and drinks, etc as well as a great bar right across the street.

No me gustó que en ningún momento pudimos contactar con el responsable. Tuvimos un problema al llegar, mandamos un e-mail y nos contestaron al día siguiente. En tres días no limpiaron la habitación, no cambiaron las toallas y tuvimos que comprar papel higiénico.

The only good thing was the location. Even the view to the castle was overrated, as it was only visible from the kitchen with a tiny desk, with dirty windows.

- At every point, it seems that the owners tried to do the absolute minimum for the apartment. Cheap flimsy furnitures, and wallpaper or plastic boards trying to cover the aged apartment. - The bed was the hardest bed I've ever had in any hotel. Coupled with the thinnest, cheapest pillows, this made a terrible night sleep. - The place was dirty, and was not properly dusted when I came. The bathroom clearly only had superficial cleaning, and brown grimes keep flaking off from uncleaned parts of the shower. Even some towels had stains on it. - The internet was very tempremental, takes 5 minutes to start if it hasn't been used in a while, even though the router was never off. - The shower was confined to half a bath due to the placement of the curtains. - There's hardly any surface in the apartment that's not worn down. Cracked walls, skirtings, door frame, moldy sufraces, rusted hinges.

L’emplacement était parfait, en centre ville mais au calme pour dormir car l’appartement donne sur cours. C’était très propre et il y avait tous les équipements dont j’ai eu besoin : sèche cheveux et fer à repasser. Super vue sur le château !

La décoration laisse un peu à désirer, mais bon, rien de grave.

We came for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and we loved being so close to Grassmarket, the Royal Mile, all events & the Airlink bus. We loved the view of the castle from the kitchen window. We liked the size of the room, the sunlight, the kitchen, bathroom, closet, etc. We also liked how easy it was to access the room w the code. We appreciated the communication from the owner about the access time. We liked the smart tv and the outlets for devices.

The pile of garbage bags at the front gate was unappealing. The height of the tub seemed a little dangerous. It might need a bar, a step stool or anti slip pads in the tub. We also had to buy toilet paper as we did not have enough for the week.

We didn’t like the TV set up. The apartment cannot get live TV due to its location so the programmes have to be selected via Firefox. It took us several days to become familiar with how to find what we wanted to view. Once mastered it was OK, just frustrating at first…

Die Lage des Appartements ist unschlagbar zentral. Wir konnten alles super zu Fuß erreichen. Der Blick aus dem Küchenfenster hat uns jeden Morgen gefreut.
