Founders Lane Apartments by Urban Rest

The apartment was mostly very quiet, despite the location opposite the city centre. The interior is very modern and felt very secure. Being just off the city centre, it was very easy to head off elsewhere in Canberra.

The only dislike was that the modern contemporary shower doesn't have a shower door, so water ends up throughout the bathroom. Also, the access cupboard for the washing machine etc. doesn't have a handle, so opening it was difficult.

It was clean and comfortable. The location was great-near the Canberra Centre and shops of all kinds. Very central to great restaurants, many within walking distance. Easy to access the apartment and seemed very safe and secure. The kitchen was good with all equipment needed to cook a meal. Parking was a real bonus.

We had some trouble accessing the apartment, partly due to us not realising we hadn’t completed the check in procedure properly, but also because the instructions we had were not correct. However, it was easy to contact the company for help. One suggestion we have is to add in an armchair. The couch was not that comfortable and there is enough room to put one in.

Excellent location, warm and well appointed apartment.

Great location, only few minutes walk to the Canberra Centre.
