"Excellent place to rewind and recharge"

The cave onsen is very unique and impressive. Both the breakfast and dinner are great.

For the public onsen, the shower area is situated in the outdoor space so it can get very cold to shower in winter. The water taps are also not easy to turn on so it's challenging to shower before going in onsen in the cold.

both the breakfast and the dinner were excellent - the high quality as expected.

while the level of cleanliness of indoor bathroom is very acceptable, we have been to other ryokans where the level was even higher.

Everything. The quiet location, lovely gardens, hot spring baths, the incredible dinner and breakfast, the friendly efficient staff. Our room was lovely, and the futon beds were very comfortable.
