The Hideout Golf Club & Resort

Pretty property with nice rooms in main building with a Texas decor vibe. Pretty view of lake, very nice pool area, and the main building is lovely.

The room’s decor is stunning. Towels in the bathroom are high end. Carpet was clean & room located on the lower level had a nice relaxing patio . Swimming pool is nice & inviting.

No elevator to access downstairs room. The Exhaust fan in the bathroom was extremely loud – therefore I did not use. The bed are extremely soft. Absolutely no support. No refrigerator or microwave in room. The resort advertised a restaurant that is closed on Mondays. Yes, the day that I stayed. After a long day of traveling , I had to return to town for a meal. Not happy😒

The patio I had is basically all outdoors. Extremely nice near Lake Brownwood.

This was my third time visiting the Hideout Golf resort. This time was perfect. It started with Jessica at the front desk. The room was not ready since it was still in the AM, so she offered to store my luggage inside, instead of leaving it in a hot car while I played golf. She made a quick work of check-in and check-out. The room was very clean with comfortable sheets and new towels. For mid June, the golf course was in top condition. I really like that the course maintenance workers always wave at you, and will pause when you get ready to hit your next shot. Becky in the pro shop really made me feel welcome, and worked to move my tee times around. The restaurant always excels with my favorite 'protein bowl' and margarita. Thank you to Kaitlyn and Kennedy for the great service and smiles!!! I live only 2 hours away, and will have to make this trip every couple months now.
