"Not worth the money. "

The one employee that we saw was very helpful when we needed it. There is no one at the front desk and have to use an App to get in the hotel and room. There were no hand soap, no hand or face towels. No bath mats. The room was nice but loud but they do provide ear plugs if needed. The bar was only open once that we saw during our 2 night stay. The parking promo code was hard to navigate and I was charge full price and working on getting a refund. Hotel is in a decent area so that was good. Not sure I’d stay there again for the price.

It was loud. Not the kind of loud that comes with a rude or noisy neighbor, but the kind that comes from rooms not being insulated properly. I could hear people next door watching TV and talking, until after 2am. The check in instructions were not clear, but the app they use to unlock doors was cool. The room was clean and I loved not having carpet. No ice maker. I couldn’t find the ice machine and no human on site to ask. Fridge in room but no coffee maker. It’s on a great location, plenty of restaurants and bars. Great concept but not executed effectively.

The hotel is very modern with high ceilings and concrete floors. The rooms are on the austere side but clean. The bed was comfy. Entry is via door codes (to the front door and your room). There is no live person/main front desk, so there is a process to this self-checkin. No problem, however, I needed to extend my stay and could not get any help merging the reservations. No one answered either phone number that was provided for Revel. That would be my main suggestion: answer the phone!

"Not as good as it used to be"

This was my 2nd time staying here in the past 4 years. 4 years ago, I had no complaints. This time, however, there were a lot of issues. 2 towels for the 2-day stay (no hand towels or face clothes), no coffee cups in the common area to make coffee, and no creamer packets. The biggest issues would be the bathroom..faucet in the sink not even firmly attached, and the shower was almost impossible to use due to the fact that the shower head handle would not stay in the loosely fitting holder. Water sprayed everywhere if you had to take it off. This is apparently a common issue if you actually read all of the previous reviews. When housekeepers cleaned the other rooms, all wet used rags were placed on all of the furniture on the 4th floor outdoor space to dry. No washer or dryer for this? Is that even sanitary? Room 408 left a lot to be desired. I would not return to Hotel Revel as it is apparently not taken care of properly, and that is a shame due to the great location. 😕

Absolutely amazing place!! We will definitely be staying here again. The only thing is that we didn’t have any hand soap in the bathroom, I had to go to the store to get some but I honestly didn’t mind at all.

"Horrible experience. No staff."

Horrible experience! Like others I’ve never written a hotel review before and I used to travel constantly for my job. The room was fine but at 11:00 the people in the room next door started blasting their tv at full volume. There is no one to call. You are supposed to send an email. Almost 24 hours later I am waiting for a response. My husband had to get dressed and luckily the bartender (the only employee on site) got them to turn it down. Only the bare minimum towels in the room and considering the cost of the room the towels were of a very poor quality. The soap and shampoo were in dispensers on the shower wall and the conditioner dispenser was empty. Be careful when going to the elevator downstairs because there is a glass panel in front of it and the lighting is poor. I ran into the panel and hit my head. Halfway through our stay I started calling it Hotel California.

Comfortable . The room was unique and for being concrete and Steele , it felt cozy and homey. The staff was great, friendly and when there was something extra we needed they got it right away. Planning on staying there again due to the great experience we had.
