We loved our midweek stay here. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were on a real getaway. The staff was friendly and seemed truly concerned with making our stay special. The room was very nice. The restaurant was perfect for breakfast and an evening snack/drink. Location was great. The only issues we had was that there were times that we could hear our next door neighbors.

A wonderful experience from start to finish! Everyone on the staff is super-friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make our visit so enjoyable and fun! Even the car valets were so friendly and helpful, and Mackenzie at the front desk is awesome! As an example, I asked about satisfying my craving one afternoon for special ice-cream and their recommendation was perfect (it's Sprinkles, by the way -- don't miss it!) The rooms are substantial in size with a wonderful large seating area by the window, and the bathroom is very spacious with a separate dressing area. The decor is very tasteful and fun and charming, and consistent with being so close to the wharf and in Newport. The hotel is centrally located with a lot to do within walking distance. We will definitely come back to the Brenton Hotel for our next visit to Newport.

Mackenzie and the valets were phenomenal—gracious and helpful. The property is beautiful, in a wonderfully walkable area.

Pros - Location, room layout, cleanliness. Complimentary water, sparkling water and ice cream were a very nice touch. Con - A hotel in this price range should have offered a gym.

Modern hotel. Very clean. Service is impeccable. Our room had a terrace and faced the harbor with a beautiful view. Great location with walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. Valet car service. There is a restaurant on premises for breakfast or dinner. Highly recommended. Will stay there again.
