Well positioned, very convenient and accommodating place. Very traditional building and fittings, absolutely stunning and in the shadow of a temple in the traditional part of the old city. Traditional service too, actually I think the owners live on-site so suited to Japanese but explained everything using a translation app. Delicious and affordable Japanese breakfast. Staff seemed surprised that we didn't leave straight after breakfast but understood.

ツインの和室を利用しました。広くないですが、落ち着いていてくつろげました。彦根城、キャッスルロードから歩いて行けるロケーションが良かったです。

浴室とシャワー室が２つ用意されていて、夜と朝で両方使用しました。それぞれソープ、シャンプー類は設置されており綺麗に保たれてます。浴室の方は、入室時にお湯を溜め退室時にお湯を抜くルールなのですが、溜めたり抜いたりするのに時間を要するので利用時間が長くなります。お湯の出し入れの時間が短縮されると利用しやすくなるかと思います。

Seemingly quite location in the old part of town, got a nice private & sheltered spot for my vehicle. Staff very friendly, small garden space to sit & smoke.

Due to too many reservations my room was changed, small, barely able to stand upright. No bed as advertised neither. Still paid the same amount ( the “ service “ I received was free breakfast). The worst was the noise from the other “ guests “ who treated the place as their personal kindergarten. Such extreme bad behavior, showing complete disregard for the fact that other people want to enjoy their time too. No interference run by staff, not at 21:00, neither at 22:00 or 23:00 🕚 when I finally had enough. Unbelievable, no way to sleep and enjoy the stay after that. Can’t recommend that place ( which could be a fine location if people are responsible and show empathy and respect for others ), unfortunately not with that group of PDA members and their horrible attitude.

Everything was great, amazing building, very comfortable facilities, room and futon. Staff was kind and friendly. Also in a great location and the meal was delicious!

Beautiful old Japanese house in a very central location. The room was really big and confortable, and the shared bathroom were clean. There is a lovely garden and shared common room too!

As per usual with old Japanese houses, you can hear everyone so take some earplugs (and be quiet)
