Abode Pittsburgh - Downtown Convention Center

We loved the location and friendly staff. The unit was equipped with everything we needed for a very comfortable. I would definitely stay again when I return to Pittsburgh.

Great location. Great price. Apartment was excellent and the building is beautiful.

Room windows could be cleaned outside. Central air conditioning could be challenging to adjust for day/sleep time.

Historic building. Very clean. Quiet during quiet hours

The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location.

I booked this stay expecting the convenience of a hotel. It is far from that. To access the property, you'll need to send them: a photo of your driver's licenses, a selfie with yourself and the driver's license, a screenshot of the Abode charge to your credit card, and a photo of the credit card you used to book. You'll also need to sign a release form and provide details on all the other guests staying at the property. And when I pushed back on this excessive amount of information, I was told it's because it's self check-in. I finally managed to get them to agree to a photo of the credit card with only the last 4 digits, my name and expiration date, something they could ask for from the start. When we arrived at the property, there actually is building security who will check ID. And then you get a 13 page manual of instructions. Don't park on the property, despite what the manual says it was entirely booked when we arrived. Just park across the street, but don't follow their screenshot of Google Maps, that is for pedestrians and the entry they point you to isn't the entry for vehicles. I also go three separate emails reminding me of the check out time and indicating if we overstayed, we'd be charged $50 for every additional 30 mins. And if we lose the keys needed to access the building, it's a $150 replacement fee. The property itself is nice and the location very central, but not worth the hassle of all the hidden rules, unclear instructions and many emails.

The location is excellent the 2 bedroom suite is so beautiful and I love that they accommodated my family during a emergency when we suffered a city power outage that lasted a week due to the bad storm we had
