Guest House Nishijin INN

Generally good. Got the stove frying fan about everything you need. The host even gave us portable wifi because our phone does not accept the ones in other rooms. He speaks understandable english. Easy to check in easy to check out.

But it's generally. Would have been 10 stars if there was a little bit more and better stuff. Would be great if there were a lot more plates and forks and chopsticks. And big bathroom towels.

I had a terrible experience with the host, but the property was in a convenient location.

Be careful with the host!! He will try to scam you into writing a positive review for the listing, promising 10,000yen cashback after your stay. I initially gave a 9/10 and wrote only positive comments. After a while, I had to message him to follow up on the cashback, but he will just say "The review you left did not meet the cashback policy" and not explain why it did not qualify for the cashback. I've reported him to Customer Services and hope that no one else will fall for the scam. As for the room itself, the floor was uneven, the room smelled musty when we first entered. Don't expect much other just a roof over your head.

This is place is a bit outdated and could need some rennovation. However, it might be okay for up to two persons. We stayed there with three persons and there was literallly place left to move.

It's located in one of my favorite parts of Fukuoka. The staff were quick to respond and very friendly.

It's a little small. But it was very comfortable for us.
