Villa Dalu

Awesome location with a stunning view right in the middle of Positano, very hospitable services by Carla. Clean and comfortable room with excellent heating!

The only drawbacks were the season and the weather. I went 1/9-1/13 deliberately to avoid the crowd, crossing the weekend right after the New Years only to find many locals still on holiday with most shops closed. Except for the first day the entire trip was rainy and grey, so the Amalfi coastal sceneries looked nothing like IG/YouTube, just empty narrow brownish grey streets with very few shops of lemon goodies or leather products opening sparingly here and there. I went to Capri on the first day when the weather was good, even then the famous Blue Grotto was closed. I was told the best months to go are March/April and October/November.

Excellent location! Drop off is down the road as there is no place to stop in front of property. Nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. Staff is personable and willing to assist in any way. Beds are very hard but otherwise nice, adequate rooms.

Carla was extremely helpful, if you book in advance she is always communicating giving you options and things to do before arrival. The property is well located in the middle of everything. The view from room is spectacular. Easy to get to restaurants, ferry, and shops.

Carla She is a fantastic host that goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. She’ll arrange all your drivers and excursions for you. Her breakfast are delicious.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights here in Positano and actually eloped on the balcony of Villa Dalu when here. It has a beautiful view of the coast. The staff was nice and helpful, sometimes too helpful. The room and very clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed.

Nothing really. Maybe it was a bit pricy, but all was great.
