Beautiful place, quite and the rooms are very spacious gorgeous view from the restaurant and lovely view from the room balcony. I enjoy my stay totally recommend staying here. 10 of 10 service was awesome I absolutely love the lady that served breakfast very sweet.

Carla was very communicative even before we checked in. She arranged transfers for us, and allowed us to relax while waiting for our transfer to leave. Breakfast was light and good, and the view was out of this world. Very centrally located.

I wish there was help in order to carry luggage. I was prepared for steps, and we only brought carry ons but I’ve noticed that unlike in Greece, where we spent the rest of our honeymoon, Italian hotels in general didn’t necessarily help a ton with luggage. Maybe we were spoiled in Greece, and it didn’t detract from our stay at all. But would be a nice addition, even one I’d pay for on the Amalfi coast.

The view is amazing, the location is perfect! Very communicative host!

The location and cleanliness of apartment was very good. the bed was comfortable and the view from the room / deck is gorgeous. The outside seating area is lovely in the mornings.

Breakfast was terrible. Day 1 - we got some ham, vegetables, coffee and a croissant. Days 2 and 3 we got one peach then one apple to share, roughly cut plus coffee and a bun. there was limited other food just some museli/yoghurt. For $700 a night this doesn't align. Carla (she is a big personality) - We arrived to place late after a delayed flight and think she was annoyed at us because of this for our 3 day stay. She definitely means well but given we had received about 100 texts pre arrival things weren't easily arranged and it caused a lot of confusion for us. Here is what she could do to help, make a simple sheet for visitors. That way its much more organised and would work for all. Park your car - this location this cost (Park Mandara mention Vila Dalu its €50 per day and 5 min walk from apartment) book your boat - got to positano boats opposite Chez Black. Cost €140 per person to Capri etc etc Restaurants - go to ... Shops - this one and that one... This would really help and make it much better for all.

Villa Dalu is likely the best value accommodation in all of Positano. The room was small but the patio and incredible view more than made up for it. The location is perfect, accessible by road or pathways, close to the port and SITA buses. The host,Carla, is friendly and helpful and prepared wonderful breakfasts and delicious cappuccinos. I would stay again in a heartbeat!
