Villa Dalu is basically a lovely little bed and breakfast in a WONDERFUL location in Positano. While our room did not have a balcony, the villa itself has a lovely two tiered patio area. Our room was very clean and the host of the property, Carla, was BEYOND helpful organizing excursions, airport transfers and dinner reservations. She’s the true gem of this property!

The location is perfect and the view is amazing. Carla is incredible and on top of everything. She is super helpful and attentive to any needs. Breakfast was excellent. I highly recommend this place. Be aware that parking is additional $40 a day.

Espectacular place with amazing view, Carla is amazing. She contact us and gave all the information needed for our stay in Positano. Carla’s breakfast was the best on our stay in Italy! 100% recommended!

It was not clear to me that this was an apartment to share. Big surprise arriving and having other people in the apartment.

The breakfast is simple but delicious!

The door of shower room is broken need a fix, or the water will get outside and make the restroom floor wet.

THE GOOD - Breathtaking Views: The highlight of this place is undoubtedly the stunning views of the Positano town (10/10). I must say it's one of the best views I've ever had the pleasure of waking up to. - Convenient Location: The location is also incredibly convenient, being close to both the town's famous viewpoint and the pathway leading to the beach. - Scenic Breakfast: The morning was made even more enjoyable with a delightful breakfast served on the balcony, offering a scenic start to the day.

THE BAD: - Average Room Facilities: The room facilities were rather average. While clean and functional, I expected a bit more in terms of amenities for the price. The bathroom floor tiles were particularly slippery. The photos of a living room with a nice view were a common area living room, not part of the private space for quadruple room. - Undisclosed City Tax: There was additional city tax of 10 Euro per night, which was not disclosed during the booking process. While this is small amount, it would have been better if this information was made clear upfront. - Stairs: Villa's uphill location presented a challenge. You may need to contact the host to book a porter to carry luggage upstairs (additional charge of 10 Euro per luggage)

Terrible, terrible customer service! Villa Dalu management (Carla) left our villa door open (unlocked, 2 bedroom villa) and left the keys behind the door. Villa Dalu management wasn't even at the hotel when we checked in. Managemet said they would be there at 5 pm but never showed up. The second bedroom was infested with ants (a lot of ants), and we were hassled about trying to get another room to sleep in (I believe there were 3 villas and 2 were vacant). I understand ant situations happen however, they way Villa Dalu management handled it was totally unacceptable, to say the least. TERRIBLE experience, I will never stay there again!
