This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please inform Abode Memphis - Downtown Madison Ave in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A damage deposit of USD 500 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Guests will receive a rental agreement which must be signed and returned to the property within 24 hours. If the agreement is not received, the guest should contact the property management company at the number on the booking confirmation. This property features self-check-in only, no front desk or concierge services available. After booking, guests must complete Abode's online check-in process. This includes electronically signing a rental agreement via a secure link, which must be submitted within 24 hours of the reservation. The link will also collect details about the stay and verify guests identity. For same-day bookings, the processing time may take up to 2 hours. Guests residing in the same city may require special approval to accommodate the stay. Guests are required to show photo identification and credit card verification (photo of the card and confirmation of a test amount) before being approved for check-in. Virtual Cards are not accepted. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. The name on the credit card used for the booking should correspond to the guest staying at the property. For reservations made by a third party, you will need to complete an authorisation form and present a copy of the person’s ID and credit card

Can't lie - I was skeptical due to all of the verification requirements, but it was so worth it. This location was PERFECT! Zero complaints. Staff was helpful, support line was fast/helpful, and the location was perfect for downtown life. Safe and secure building, parking garage, and 24/7 support. Best place I've ever stayed while travelling.

"Worst customer service in the world at a VERY nice apartment."

Facility, location, and price were all phenomenal, but the check-in process is/was BRUTAL! First, it's confusing that they list check in as closing at 8pm. I checked in online before 8 and received a confirmation of room 707 with a 4 digit pin, so I assumed that I had my door code. The manager let us in around 12:30, asked if I knew my room and pin, and I said yes, so we got on the elevator, went to room 707, the pin didn't work, and finally a guy comes to the door and says he's in the room with his lady. I call the number, and the customer service rep, who I kept on the line for OVER 30 MINUTES until I got in my room, didn't know how to use the kiosk out front, and he told me I'd been sent a new confirmation and was now in room 815 (707 is front with view, and only view in 815 is the alley). I'd just driven 7.5 hours from KC and already had a confirmation with room number and pin, so I didn't think I needed to check my email for a NEW confirmation. So I had to figure out how to work the most not user-friendly or intuitive kiosk on the planet on my own, which then read me a SIX DIGIT door code for my room, which I didn't hear, because the csr was talking, and it activated the elevator to the 8th floor, where I had to have him repeat the 6 digit code for me (which you have to memorize or put in your phone, because the key that opens the front door and the elevators DOES NOT OPEN THE ROOM DOORS!!!). After getting in my room and getting the key to the elevator, I went down to the 7th floor to get my kid and his 2 friends, who had been waiting for me for 30 minutes. The entire process took an hour! I was let in by the manager at 1220, who left as soon as I he sent us to the 7th floor on the elevator, and we walked in our room at 130am. So then I put my 4 digit garage code, my 4 digit intercom code, and my 6 digit door code into my phone AND put my key card (not room key, JUST elevator and main door key) in my wallet.

Everything except their ridiculously complicated and antiquated process of accessing my room. The place is worth a FORTUNE, and they can't pay some slap minimum wage to sit at the front desk at night?
