some aspects good have been improved, The beds were on the soft side (although it maybe that others prefer that) no fans in the property on the hottest day of the year. Very hot in the loft conversation No lock on the bathroom and some rooms hadnt been cleaned as well as I would have expected Informed the owners, who were apologetic and offered to remedy

We booked this for our family with young children. The rooms were good for everyone. Tv, WiFi and fully functional kitchen. The dishwasher was really handy. Interiors are really nice with a spacious dining and good seating arrangements. I really recommend this place The access to city centre and parking was so convenient and made our stay so much easy.

Lack of wash basin in downstairs cloakroom meant that we all had to wait to use one bathroom. Shower room door needs maintenance.

Only location and the size of the living room area.

This property was filthy throughout, and it’s honestly hard to know where to start. We actually took so many pictures of things we found, however for some reason this site only allows 4 images to be uploaded. We actually messaged the owners for pictures of the garden 2/3 days before we arrived after booking and was ignored, probably in hindsight this should have been a red flag. So we stayed as 2 families with children. When we arrived we noticed a half a loaf Warburtons bread just left on the floor just outside the garden doors. Going out to the garden it got worse as there were cigarette butts everywhere and a very strong smell of cat urine plus even poo, and what look bad drain blockage with the remains just left to dry on the ground. Inside the property it didn’t get any better. Going upstairs the carpets were so dirty throughout and we even found what looked like a poo stain on the carpet on the floor of the first floor front bedroom. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. Literally every time we stopped, sat down or tried to relax we’d all spot something else, meaning it was impossible to relax. We were actually scared to lift the bed sheets and check the mattresses as we’d most likely have not stayed at all. This property really needs a deep clean, something that it has definitely not received in what looks like months or even longer going off the build up dust. We could hear every noise inside the property, especially when we were all trying to sleep and our friends or children would go to the bathroom and back to bedrooms. Oh and there are no locks on any of the bedrooms but most importantly the bathroom doors. Honestly everyone’s sleeping experience was a disaster as we sat down at the breakfast table to talk, and we all joked that we sounded like the nursery story Goldilocks and the 3 bears but without the just right experience.

There is no lock on the bathroom door We found a slice of mouldy bread in the plant pot in the top room and crumbs / rubbish in the sofa bed. The sofa bed is broken and we couldn’t get it to function, so we were glad of the airbed we had brought just in case.

Great place for a weekend break.

Lack of basic equipment. When we arrived we had one mug, one teaspoon and 5 forks - we were a group of eight! Once reported problem sorted out efficiently. Also had no hot water or heating as boiler not working - so another phone call needed and had to wait for visit to sort this out. No locks on either bathroom door which seemed rather strange for a house that can accommodate 8 people. Told parking in the road was allowed - my friend ended up with a fine!

The home was lovely, nicely furnished, and comfortable.

The property appears to still have some work to be done I.e. the shower door was loose. The shower seal is very mould stained. The shower drain tray was dirty. No cleaning supplies were provided.
