Hage Rooms

This property is not what was advertised. No where did it mention stairs that were so steep you could barely walk up them. My mum is unable to use stairs and was unable to go up to the bedroom on the first floor. We had to book a second hotel so she could sleep.

The location was great and our bed was really soft!

The bathroom wasn’t really clean imo… and the host didn’t have our room ready on check in time. And everything was very noisy.

Good location, nice and clean and very warm house.

Not enough pot and pans. No soundproofing between showers and toilets. Some guests do not follow rules on cleanliness. There is no mirror in my room.

When we arrived, there was already a group of girls in our room. We called the landlord, who wasn’t very polite on the phone. We were living not only with tourists but also with permanent residents, who were very loud, especially on Fridays. The bathroom was fine for a shared one, but the kitchen was really dirty, so we didn’t cook there. The room, however, was clean.

Warm and cosy environment.

The beds were passable. Sofa bed folded out to a decent size and was relatively comfy given what it was. The heating in the rooms was good and the view was ok but not terrific.

"free toiletries" is a lie- we were not given anything in the way of hygiene, except for one decent shower and one that was quite literally squashed into the cupboard that housed the hot water tank. When questioned about the lack of towels I received a generic, auto-generated response informing me about the check-in and check-out times and where I could leave my luggage which evidently does not help me dry myself after my stint in the tiny shower. Additionally, for the amount of money that we spent I would have appreciated perhaps higher quality of the accommodation itself- it was evidently an old house that has been converted to a hostel/hotel type arrangement. The walls were very thin and the renovations that had been done were quite questionable giving an overall run-down feeling.
