Avon Inn

Easy access for late check in via lock box. Super friendly staff person provided her phone number. Property is old, in need of some TLC and has a musty smell. Stayed one night to visit local colleges/universities.

A wonderful historic property that has been beautifully renovated. The proprietor was accommodating and engaging. Had a wonderful stay.

Our stay was ok for me. The bed was too hard for me and my sleep was not that great due to this. Other than that the place was clean, quiet. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We dined in the restaurant there and the food was really good.

The building had charm. Very quiet place. Only downside was there were a lot stink bugs in our room

The room was comfortable and clean. Our TV remote did not work because they had put the wrong one in our room. There was no one to speak to after 11:00 pm nor between 10:30 and 11:00 am the next day when we checked out. The breakfast was good but did not know that it was a continental breakfast—-this was not indicated when reserving the room.

Great staff and great location. Beautiful place to stay. Room was tight, chai in the room was very uncomfortable and maybe just for decor but would have liked a chair to sit in. Other than that minor detail, great place and staff.

Our stay was AMAZING! Loved the historical aspect of the venue. Be sure to check out the album in the lobby. Staff, in particular, Ashley made us feel so welcomed.

The building is historic and maintained beautifully. If your looking for modern, this inn tries to accommodate without losing its charm. Just "make friends" with the temperamental side door, if your room is on the side. Those side stairs are steep, so they provide a chair lift!! Thoughtful of our less agile community!

Very charming property. Hosts are really great, they take care of all your needs, very attentive and polite. Family had a great time staying there. In house restaurant is full service with great menu.
