Design of the hotel is very beautiful

The hotel is very beautiful but we have been very disappointed because they had a problem with electricity in the evening (that could happen) but their answer has been very poor from an hotel of their category. I want to explain better. We came back to the hotel at 7pm and everything was dark. They told us that they had no electricity and we had to move to another hotel of a lower category. Even if we had paid everything before they told us they will refund us after but we have to pay the new hotel by ourself ( 170€ more). It was late and we said ok. We had to go to the other hotel by foot (no one called a taxi even if we had big luggages). They also said “if you don’t like this new hotel you can change”. Of course we cannot at 7pm with 2 big luggages. Now after a month we haven’t received the refund of the night we have paid double!!! We had to report this to Booking.com assistance. They also sent is a fake receipt of bank Transfer that has never been made!!! I suggest to find other hotels in Merida, maybe less beautiful but more fair with their guests!! Last thing: music in the lobby is very high during weekdays till late and you feel like someone is playing inside the room

Incredible staff..truly. Very accommodating and on top of things. Have stayed in hotels across the world and while this one is small, they had 5 star staff. Bedroom was way bigger than expected, bathroom was huge as well. Rooftop is perfect to hangout and have a drink/cigar. If I am ever back in Merida, this is the spot!

Friendly staff and clean property overall however: 1. Please change your pillows. Worst pillows of any hotel I have stayed in 2. Please limited volume levels during the day. People are paying to stay at a hotel, not a club

Great place , good food and nice service

We stayed at the Diez Diez Collection to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday. From the moment we booked, the hotel staff was super responsive. I wanted to set up a few things in the room beforehand and the hotel staff was happy to help. When we arrived we were greeted with a welcome mocktail and provided with an upgrade which was incredibly kind of the staff. The room was large and very comfortable. All of the staff were attentive and kind the entire time. We also ate dinner at the on-site restaurant Fronto - the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I would highly recommend Diez Diez and hope to stay there again in the future!
