Meta was the most amazing host I have ever had. As soon as I arrived he brought me to the coolest party. He showed me all around angkor wat and did profesional level photoshoots for me. He showed me the local experience and shared food with me. His wife made me custom tailored clothes for a super cheap price. His family is so sweet and kind. He also took me and other guests to the nearby silk farm and to a traditional Cambodian wedding!! Meta was more than a host he became a good friend and truly showed me the local Cambodian experience. Not only did Meta show me the time of my life in cambodia but also I got very sick when I was staying at his homestay and he took such good care of me. He brought me food and water and coconuts every day, have me head massages when I had a headache. Took me to the pharmacy to get medicine. And even drove me to the hospital multiple days in a row. And when I had to stay in the hospital he came to visit me every day and brought me food and coconuts and even brought me a boquet of flowers as a get well soon present. I cant say enough good things about Meta. He is truly the most kind and genuine person and treated me like family. I will always remember my time at Meta Homestay so fondly. And even though I got very sick and hospitalized during my time in cambodia Meta showed me such an amazing time and so much kindness that I will always remember all of the amazing experiences I had in Cambodia more than my experience of getting sick. Being a solo female traveler and getting so sick in a foreign country is the scariest thing ever but Meta made it not scary and made me feel so well taken care of that I knew everything would be okay. I highly recommend staying here even if its just so you get to hang out with Meta! He is really the best!

We particularly enjoyed the relaxed vibe at Meta's, along with the very friendly presence of the host ! Plus we got to do all sorts of activities we couldn't have done by staying in the city !!

The place is really inside a local House, it looks really traditional

Looks like a scrapeward. I don’t know where to begin. The pictures are a false advertisement. It’s full of dogs everywhere and no one speaks English. The Garden is poorly maintained and the rooms looks like a hobo place. The bathroom was really dirty with hairs everywhere. I understand that the price is low but add 2dollars more and you are in a hotel. It doesn’t make sense to stay here. It doesn’t cost them anything to keep things more organized. It’s not about the price but about how you treat a place. There is no nature around. Basically you sleep in a garden of a “house” next to the highway.

Le homestay de Meta est un peu loin du centre de Siem Reap mais c’est un endroit tellement paisible que ce n’est pas dérangeant. Meta est une personne formidable, qui a pris soin de nous, nous a conduit pendant 3 jours autour des temples. Il nous a emmené manger avec ses amis et nous avons partagé de très bons moments avec lui. La cabane est confortable, eau chaude et bonne literie. Nous recommandons à 100% l’aventure avec Meta car c’est une expérience authentique.
