We loved this beautiful home so much!!! The homeowner Meta was so lovely and invited us to party with him and his neighbours for Khmer New Year which was so much fun. So welcoming and helpful, even gave us a few lifts to a few different places! Lovely people and a lovely home, would definitely recommend

This homestay was exactly what you'd expect from a true local stay—simple, but clean and comfortable. What made it special wasn’t the room, but the warmth of the host. He went above and beyond by inviting us to join his family’s Songkran celebration. It wasn’t a touristy show, it was the real thing—authentic, fun, and full of heart. If you're looking for genuine local experiences and don't mind skipping the hotel luxuries, this place delivers memories money can't buy.

This was a perfect Homestay, we really enjoyed staying with Meta and he was very helpful with everything we needed :)

I enjoyed my 3 nights here a lot. The owner was caring, helpful and attentive. I found the place amazing, with the garden, the trees, the huge roots, the mango fruits, geckos, birds, ... And the community, family, workers, village atmosphere. I had dinner served on the balcony, so great.

The only annoyance: it is the wedding season, so there are quite noisy parties all over the countryside.

The owner is extremely helpful, sympathetic and open minded. He arranged for us for a very good price an unforgettable day trip by boat into the Prek Toal bird protection area - with thousands of birds seen from our boat. Living at a Khmer family‘s home!

Meta is a great host. He also organizes tours around the area and to Angkor Wat. He has a bike and a scooter that you can rent. The family cooked a lovely dinner for me. Chatting with him was quite interesting. He is always there to help with information. Although the place is not directly in Siem Reap, it does not feel disconnected. It is therefore quite calm and relaxed. Meta has a lovely bar just round the corner where we met some locals and travellers to spend time with. It is also easy to get to Angkor Wat from the place. I enjoyed a lot my stay and if I go to visit the area again, this is for sure my address to go for.

We absolutely loved staying with Meta and his family! From the moment we got there he made us feel welcome and at home. We got the chance to join Meta in a couple of community gatherings which was such a good experience for us and everyone was just as welcoming! The area is a little out of the city which was just what we needed, we were able to rent a scooter whilst there to explore the nearby villages but he also offered a tuk tuk tour as well! Hot food was prepared for if wanted and water, coffee all available. Also there were puppies!! Thankyou so much to Meta and your lovely family for letting us join.. our only wish is we could of stayed for longer 💓

The place was perfect . So peaceful, quiet, and comfortable. The owner made us feel like family .

Meta was a kind host who was helpful as I was unfortunately unwell for my entire stay so he was able to get some bananas for me, he was great at organising tuktuks and took us for a drive multiple times himself. The room was basic but everything that was needed, it was also clean and tidy. Considering the drive from the city appeared far it wasn’t difficult to go into town and back easily and did not take long at all.
