Sehr freundliche Gastgeber und leckes Essen. Die Safari durch das Hotel organisiert ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen.

Tutto perfetto. Molto ospitali e cena buonissima. Inoltre, ci hanno organizzato un safari perfetto con un pranzo super buono e una guida bravissima.

The surrounding of the chalet was great. Really nice vibe. The personel was super nice and inside even though there was information about insects (which I found very considerate) there were none. Not single lizard even. The shower was pretty nice too.

We had a great stay at Mango Tree House. The cottage was clean, nice sized, air con worked great and had an outdoor bathroom. We had dinner at the property and it was amazing. The owner, Sachi, was very responsive to all my inquiries and helped book our safari and taxi to Ella. Our only regret is that we only got to stay one night at this property. Highly recommend!

Wifi was spotty at times but worked overall.

Helpful staff, good support to arrange a taxi to Ella at a good price. Abundant food both for dinner and breakfast. Amazing shower.

We had a brilliant stay here in Udawalawe and honestly couldn’t believe how affordable it was for everything included. The place is family run and everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived — we were greeted with fresh juice which was such a nice touch after travelling. The host was especially helpful throughout our stay, helping organise both the Elephant Transit Centre and our safari, which we would definitely recommend doing. Everything was very easy and stress-free to arrange through him. The room itself was basic but had everything we needed, and for the price it was excellent value. Food and drinks were always available, and the Sri Lankan buffet was absolutely delicious — one of the best local meals we had during our trip. One of the most memorable parts was the outdoor shower, which was such a fun and unique experience. The host also arranged a massage for us nearby in the jungle, and it ended up being the best massage we’ve ever had. The staff were also really helpful with luggage and always happy to help with anything we needed. Overall, such a warm and memorable stay with genuinely lovely people. Would absolutely stay again.

Amazing place to stay very comfortable and natural. Hosts personally met and talked. Always did a follow up till we reached.

Todo. La habitación, cogimos la más grande y súper cómoda y bonita. El baño al aire libre espectacular. La comida casera y riquísima tanto el desayuno como la cena y estuvieron atentos en todo momento desde que hicimos la reserva para darnos todas las facilidades.

Staff were super helpful, and provided dinner for us even though we arrived late. Sorted out a great safari for us. The rooms are lovely and the site is very peaceful
