The Spires Serviced Apartments Cardiff

The Spire, Cardiff Room 3 We were booked into The Spire for 3weeks by University Hospital, Cardiff as my husband was going through medical treatment that meant he had to Isolate. We had our two dogs with us and had the ground floor studio apt which was perfect. The Manager was very friendly and always asked how things were going which we appreciated. The service staff understood my husbands isolation and were happy for me to clean the room and change our bedding, I was shown where everything was stored and clean linen was supplied on request. The accommodation was perfect, clean and comfy and the bed was excellent. It was great to be able to control the heating and the room was lovely and warm. We attended hospital daily then spent a lot of time watching tv, great selection of channels thankfully!! Kitchen was well stocked and hair dryer and iron were also supplied. My only complaint would be it would have been nice to have had a few basic supplies in the kitchen cupboards, salt & pepper, sugar, kitchen towel… but I suppose most people have short stays and eat out! 10minute walk to major shops, lots of great pubs and restaurants nearby, unfortunately we couldn’t use them!! 😕 Sofia Gardens and Bute Park, with some wonderful old trees is just behind The Spire, perfect for dog walking or just getting some fresh air. It’s in a nice area and I felt very safe walking the dogs on my own at night. It was handy having parking, although quite tight, but their charge was considerably cheaper than on road parking. Would have no problem saying it is a good place to stay in central Cardiff, it isn’t luxurious but is clean and comfortable with very friendly staff.

It was spotless, modern, spacious, everything we needed and perfect location for Sports Wales.

The tv/remote could have worked better.

Muy completo y práctico para mi estancia, pude trabajar en el estudio y por las noches agradecía poder comer “en casa”. Muy cómodo. El personal muy amable: me olvidé el adaptador para el enchufe y me solucionaron rápidamente el problema. La accesibildad excelente: llegué a media noche del aeropuerto y me dejaron instrucciones para realizar un checkin rápido y fácil.
