"Good job the bed was comfortable..."

A comfortable bed and being in a good location are pretty much the only things going for this place! The shower was terrible (no pressure) and broken, try and move it and it fell off the wall. No welcome pack, bedding wasn’t changed, only bath towels provided, no do not disturb sign, no hangers in wardrobe, poor WIFI, had to wait an hour before being allowed into room due to ‘maintenance’, constant smell of damp, tea/coffee/toilet roll not replenished, poor decor (huge bulge in bedroom ceiling), bedside lamps didn’t work, no large mirror, mirror light in bathroom didn’t work, radiator didn’t work, toilet flush was lose and at risk of breaking, bathroom door didn’t shut properly and when trying to leave there was clean linen on the floor at the bottom of the stairs (trip hazard) so all in all a pretty poor place!! Also, no available parking, like advertised. I would not recommend and it definitely should NOT have a 3 star rating!

"Awful nothing like the photos"

I dont even know where to start, the room was smelly, nothing like the photos, not to mention the room hadn't been cleaned, old bedding and left coffee cups!!! Would not recommend to anyone! If I could give it zero stars I would. They also had no covid restrictions or safety in place, staff had no masks on or social distancing.

"Weekend getaway"

Innit hotel was a great little getaway in the center of Brighton. Easy access to the beach with good restaurants near by. The rooms are budget rooms so no frills so you get what you pay for. I come to Bring futon to enjoy the outdoors and not having to pay an arms and a leg to stay somewhere is exactly what I wanted and needed on this trip.

"BIG MISTAKE - CON ARTISTS"

Up until covid I had relatively good experiences using booking.com. I had reserved 2 hotel rooms via this service for July with a free cancellation policy and no prepayment (pay at the property) - When everything shut down in March, the hotel took the full value of the booking in early April - when I cancelled at the end of April, I got an email saying it will take up to 2 months to issue a refund - fair enough.... over 4 months later, emails to both Booking and the hotel directly and still nothing. Hotel is saying they basically will not refund and best bet to go to Booking but impossible to get any communication or response from them. Appalling customer service from both. Stay away from this hotel. They should never have taken the full amount from my card. I understand these are difficult times for EVERYONE but this behaviour is borderline fraud.
