Under Canvas Acadia

Great unique experience!

Serenity and views! Food great too!

Great night of sleep and comfortable beds. Easy check-in process that explained the quirks of the tents. I was worried about the hot water in the shower, which shouldn't have been a worry! A bit outside of the park, but helped driving through Ellsworth to stop for a hearty breakfast before hiking Acadia.

This was our second stay at an Under Canvas Location. The bay location is absolutely breath taking and so beautiful to enjoy every morning. The staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. We love this company and can't wait to stay at more locations!

The entire staff was so lovely and accommodating; we had such a great time that we extended our trip an extra day. Jordan at the restaurant was awesome, front desk was excellent and helpful. Didn’t catch the name of the breakfast server but they we great too. Views and property lived up to expectations. Such a relaxing trip; don’t miss out on the stars at night!

My first time visiting Maine and Under Canvas. I wish I would have come earlier in September. The weather was too cold for me and some things were closed for the season. I did visit Acadia park and Bar Harbor which I wish I spent more time at. I enjoyed the food and the shopping.

Breakfast was good.

It was 43 miles from Acadia which was a surprise. We thought we were much closer to the park. The distance was definitely a negative. We paid for the starlight view and the plastic was cloudy so we couldn't see anything. It was definitely NOT worth the extra $.

We planned Under Canvas as an exciting new way to return to Acadia and celebrate the first day of Fall! Knowing the magic of the area, we weren’t satisfied with other accommodation options until we saw this. IT DID NOT LET US DOWN! We will be back!

What a great concept, great time, great staff and great vacation. We went when the temps were getting chilly but the wood stoves and the blankets kept you warm. A little further from Acadia hiking and Bar Harbor so just plan on driving each day for 45 min to an hour - not far in miles but traffic and back roads make it longer than expected. Loved it and will do it again in the future, hopefully at another location when we visit a national park.
