I was genuinely shocked at the condition of this apartment, and I would not recommend staying here. For the price we paid (£100 per night), the standard was completely unacceptable. 1. Major safety issue – broken living room window One of the main windows in the living room was completely broken and wouldn’t close at all. I had to wedge the microwave against it just to keep it slightly shut, but there was still a strong draft coming in. The apartment was freezing, and it felt unsafe to leave the window unable to close properly. 2. Bedroom windows also faulty Both bedroom windows had large gaps, letting in cold air and noise from outside. I ended up stuffing them with kitchen roll just to try to reduce the draft. This is not something anyone should have to do, especially in accommodation at this price point 3. Broken blind that fell and caused injury The large blind in the main bedroom fell down completely when my niece tried to open it and hit her on the head. This was extremely concerning and could have caused a serious injury. 4. Wardrobe doors hanging off The wardrobe doors were barely attached. Simply touching them to check stability caused them to fall further off the rail. It’s clear that no basic maintenance is being done. 5. Kitchen issues Cupboard doors in the kitchen were hanging off, the grill pan was dirty on arrival, and there were barely enough utensils to cook even a simple meal—no wooden spoon, one pot, one frying pan, and that was it. 6. Poor furniture quality The sofa bed was worn out and would not stay in place when set up. The two so-called “double beds” were just two single beds pushed together with a large uncomfortable ridge down the middle, making sleep difficult. 7. Misleading listing and inadequate amenities The TV was extremely small for the size of the living room—around 20 inches—and looked completely out of place. For a “large apartment,” the amenities were incredibly poor.

First impressions were very positive — the accommodation looked perfect and stylish. However, we soon realised it was not as represented.

We booked this apartment paying for two rooms with double beds, but both rooms had two single beds pushed together. I found the bed comfortable, but my husband’s sleep was disturbed as he kept sliding into the gap between the mattresses. The listing felt misleading, and this is a main reason I wouldn’t stay here again. Other issues included only one cup for tea or coffee, mould in the shower of the bedroom’s bathroom, and windows in the main living area that do not close properly. I also received a follow-up call from staff asking if I enjoyed my stay. When I highlighted these issues, I was disappointed to be told I would need to email the owner. It felt pointless to call if concerns aren’t escalated directly. Overall, while some aspects were fine, I would not book this apartment again.

Bit run down. Carpets dirty, sofa broken, could do with a good clean.

Location, ease of access. Very quiet apart from windows. Parking.

External doors and windows very noisy when windy, didn’t close properly. Faulty blind in main bedroom, no privacy,when reported no action taken.

From reading previous reviews on the property I agree it needs some TLC and carpets definitely need a good clean! I reported several damages we noticed as soon as we arrived at the property

The living area was really lovely, big and spacious, as were the two bedrooms and very close to the town centre.

The bathrooms were a bit dated and the whole place needed a few repairs. The shower door was half falling off and the blinds pulleys were all loose too. It was a shame about these little things because the decor otherwise was lovely. The crockery seemed a bit scarce, for example there was only two mugs, which was fine as there was only two of us but for two couples staying they might have to take turns for cups of tea! My friend commented that the TV was a little small for the size of the room but that bothered me a bit less!
