Escarpa - the Madeira Hideaway

What I liked most about the Escarpa hotel in Madeira is that it is located in a remote and very शांत area, making it ideal for disconnecting. You can enjoy a great deal of peace during your holidays and then combine it with hikes and other outdoor activities. Additionally, the rooms are spacious, so you have plenty of personal space, which is greatly appreciated.

Perhaps the aspect I liked the least was that near the Escarpa there is a waterfall that has gained popularity on social media, attracting many visitors throughout the day who come to take photos. Inevitably, this can be somewhat disruptive and detract from the overall sense of tranquility. Another aspect I did not particularly appreciate is that the kitchen is not fully equipped for preparing meals, as it only includes a refrigerator. Furthermore, there are very limited dining options nearby; in fact, there is only one place available, which significantly restricts choice. Given its remote location, it would be beneficial to have a dinner option, especially considering that the Escarpa hotel only offers breakfast.

Das Frühstück ist eine Wucht! Liebevoll in kleinen Gefäßen angerichtet mit ganz viel Liebe! Sehr schmackhaft, ab-wechslungsreich und es wird immer wieder nachgelegt. Das Personal ist wirklich super freundlich und die Inhaberin Petra kümmert sich persönlich um jeden Gast und seine Bedürfnisse.
