Happy Closet & Wasamon Hostel

The single room had a lot of storage and was quite spacious.

The bed in the single room was a bunk bed that was far from comfortable and very noisy. The window is facing a very bright apartment building and one out of the two blinds did not work making it hard to sleep. One single bathroom is shared across two dormitories and one private room worth of people. Same goes for the toilets and the kitchen. Every single door and the floors are also very noisy. I got woken up multiple times every single night and morning. Lastly I was only given two hand towels for 5 nights, not even a normal sized towel for showering. At ¥5000 a night, this isn’t worth it. Lastly, checkout was at 10am and I promptly got a knock on my door at 10:02 to get kicked out as I was literally about to leave.

The host are really nice and welcoming. They will invite you to karaoke nights and barbecue. You have the chance to be part of the local community during your stay. I loved it!

Good location and comfortable with decent facilities.

Hosts were welcoming but very inconsiderate upon checkout. Left my room and returned the key at 10am as requested, yet when I went to use the toilet was told I wasn’t allowed since I had checked out? (It was 10:05am).
