Happy Closet & Wasamon Hostel

L'accueil était très chaleureux et l'hôtel très bien équipé. Les lits superposés étaient très confortables même s'il ne faut pas trop bouger dedans. Il faut marcher un peu pour atteindre le terminal des bus, la gare ou les quartiers plus animés, mais au vu du prix c'est largement pardonnable.

방과 침대가 깨끗하고 아늑함. 사장님분들 매우 친절하심. 근처에 트램역 있음. 사쿠라마치, 신시가이, 쿠마모토성 도보로 이동 가능.

침대 프레임이 안좋아.. 2층 침대에서의 움직임이 직방으로 느껴집니다.. 여태 호스텔 중 가장 심각;;

Sound insulation from common room is poor.

La chambre familiale était vraiment propre et agréable, j’ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour. L’emplacement est plutôt pratique, à environ 20 minutes à pied de la gare de Kumamoto. La climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement, ce qui a rendu le séjour encore plus confortable. Les hôtes étaient souriants et vraiment sympathiques. Si je repasse par Kumamoto, je reviendrai sans hésiter !

Great location - about 20 minutes' walk from Sakuramachi bus terminal and just a few minutes more from Kumamoto Castle. A short walk away from a 24-hour supermarket. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean. So were the bathroom and laundry room. There is a laundry machine and a drying machine. The living room downstairs is messy, but feels cozy, and I'm sure it would be great for people who like partying. There is a well-equipped kitchen where you can freely cook and store your things. There is also both a shower with excellent floor drainage (a rare sight in hostels) and a bathtub (which might as well be a unicorn). The price was also great for Kumamoto!

Before my arrival I got no less than three messages from the owners asking for an arrival time and warning about cash-only, which was unnecessary and felt very pushy. In all of my stays I've never been asked so insistently for a response before I arrive. During the day security is abysmal: the guesthouse is wide open and accessible to anyone. I made the mistake of going directly on the second floor (I hadn't realized check-in was on the first floor) and I found the door wide open and could walk into any room. There are also no lockers or closets so anyone could take anything from the rooms, because everything is out in open shelves. The main door only locks after 22:00. My bed kept shaking throughout the night. While the mattress and duvet itself were very comfortable, the bed structure was extremely unstable.
