Happy Closet & Wasamon Hostel

They provided a change of towel everyday. The kitchen/dining area was quite nice. Other hostel guests were quite friendly and sociable. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair dryer provided. There was a separate entrance for hostel guests.

The beds were very squeaky - if you moved a bit you would disturb others at night. There was only one shower available on the second floor and the water was a bit slow to drain. Staff didn't seem that friendly compared to other hostels - a guest in my dorm was slow to check out and the lady running the hostel barged into the room and admonished the guest that check-out was at 10am. It was a bit shocking.

Nice hostel led by a happy elderly couple, convenient and cheap stay.

As it is an older family-house, the sound-proofing isn't the best. Be aware that it might be noisy.

It was comfortable and clean, I had a nice relaxing stay, the owners are really sweet and helpful! Loved my stay! Thank you!!

The couple who runs this hostel are absolutely delightful people. The Saturday night dinner that they host had a super friendly and welcoming atmosphere and provided an excellent chance to make some friends in a new city.

There is very little to complain about with this property. It is extremely cheap to stay here and the only staff is a husband and wife who run the place. So don't expect it to be spotless. The building is a little older and well worn than more expensive hotel options. Also my roommates snored a fair bit so consider some earplugs is you stay in a shared dormitory style room.

Conveniently located near many things. I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see from there.

Noise barrier between kitchen and room was thin, but otherwise no problems.

The staff are really nice!though it takes 20 minutes walk from the station to hostel,but there’s also Lawson,supermarket nearby.I will still stay there while my next trip in KATAMOTO
