Happy Closet & Wasamon Hostel

It was a very nice location, quite but very relaxed atmosphere, the hosts were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, the amenities were perfect for my stay, to be fair it was just perfect for me, it was in my opinion really good value and would definitely book again if i had a choice of hostels, thank you

Nothing here made me unhappy, im a very easy going person and cannot find any faults with this Hostel

Very friendly staff indeed who immediately invited me to an evening social event upon arrival. Regrettably I only had one night in Kumamoto and plans already but lovely to be invited.

Everything was just fine.

The owners are very welcoming and the hospitality is great. They do a party every Saturday with locals and the guest, it was so fun.

The facilities are very clean, it’s a traditional Japanese home. The bathroom always has hot water and a bath.

Staff were lovely, place was very clean

Walls are quite thin, so you hear anyone walking around opening/closing doors. Only a fairly small place though, so not tonnes of guests doing that

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Kumamoto itself was lovely, I love Kumamon! The little kitchen dining area was also appreciated.

The bunk bed was very creaky and noisy when you move even slightly.
