Kampung Sari Homestay

I really liked the central location but also the fact that it felt so quiet and removed from all the busyness. My room was big and very clean and the bed was super comfy. I had a great view from my room too! The guest house had such a lovely setting in what felt like temple gardens. Really lovely. Breakfast was adequate and always on time.

Maybe the only thing I didn’t like was that I couldn’t have my floor to ceiling curtains open without anyone passing my room being able to look straight in.

Great location, an oasis of peace in the center of Ubud. Very friendly and supportive staff, great breakfast choices. Can recommend and would definitely book again!

Quiet, center, comfortable, nice place to stay

It is clean, no bugs, no mold (which can be a problem in many other places). The room isnt big, but it is spacious enough. Breakfast on the terace overlooking the mountains is nice. The owner’s son is very nice, he kindly made some recommendations. I didnt ask, but i am sure he can help with trips and taxi. It’s located on a main street so very easy to walk around but because it’s up you cannot hear the noise, so you can rest at night.

There was no soap/shampoo in the bathroom. I didnt ask for any, as I had my own. Separatelly, thisisn’t a negative, more a heads up, so you can choose according to your needs. This isnt the type of accommodation you can spend your day at. It’s perfectly fine to rest during the night and prepare for your days of adventure. Breakfast is only one item (you can choose from about 3-4 things), fresh fruit and a cup of coffee. It’s fine, but dont expect much.

Excellent hosts who made my stay in Ubud awesome. Location is brilliant and there is a convenience store just outside the property in case you need anything.
