Fantastic property. We love this place.

Staff very friendly the weather was bad and he was very concerned about of safety I went home a day early he let my daughter and dog stay in my room cause they couldn’t get home

We reserved a room in this establishment, through Priceline, in good faith. The trouble started with trying to locate the property. Both Google Maps and Apple Maps took us to a location which, while "close" was not the actual motel. I literally pulled into the "Lake LBJ Inn", a small single story, wooden framed, "tourist court" to ask directions. I was informed that this was, in fact, the "Rodeway Inn". They were still awaiting their sign (even though the Priceline listing prominently showed the, non-existent, sign). The motel simply looked "shabby" I asked to see a room. I was shown one. A cursory observation by a male led to the conclusion that there were no glaring concerns and it WAS late. I gave the OK and my wife entered the room. She went to use the bathroom. The toilet paper holder fell onto the floor when she pulled on the paper. While retrieving the paper, she saw the dirt build up in the nearest corner. This led to a closer inspection. Dirt, including hair, in the corners holes in the sheets and blankets. There were microscopic civilizations forming in the cooling fins of the air conditioner unit. Housekeeping standards not up to "national brand standards". My wife indicated that she would sleep in the car. I took numerous pictures. I explained to the proprietor that we could not stay there and told him why. We went to a nearby town and checked into another "Choice Hotels" property that was infinitely better and similarly priced. This property is not representative of Choice Hotels. I cannot recommend this place.

I came in to giant cockroach on the floor. The shower had obviously not been cleaned as there was an old soap in the soap dish and an old washrag hanging on the shower curtain. The microwave had a mess inside it that could not be easily wiped out with hot water and a rag. The fridge also had a mess inside it. The door could use a good wipe down and i wore shoes inside the whole time because of the stickiness on the floor. Very dirty.

No hot water our entire stay.. The manager would not answer the phone or correct the problem. The wrong motel sign out front made it difficult to find.
