I loved the location. the inside was beautiful and clean. Loved loved loved. The view looks over the street. The red house from down the road is so beautiful and Mom and I would be out and turned the corner and there is our apartment. So lovely. Funny story. I have very thick hair. After being in Blue Lagoon all day , my hair was a mess. Elsa provided shampoʻ and conditioner. Once my hair was wet my entire head of hair was one big massive knot. The conditioner Elsa provided was a miracle worker. A dime size amount turned my hair silky.

The people upstairs were heavy footed.

Smaakvol ingericht, het huis ademt historie. Dankzij de tips van Elsa heerlijk gegeten en het noorderlicht gezien. Top locatie op loopafstand van Harpa congrescentrum.

Gehorig wat betreft optrekkende autos (maar de aanwezige oordoppen hielpen)

The House of the Snowbird was the perfect place to stay in Reykjavik. It's historic charm, cleanliness and comforts, along with the walkability to everything in Reykjavik was outstanding. Surrounded by beautiful art, all the comforts you need, and free parking...simply perfect! You could feel the energy of the city, but it was quiet and restful! Thank you, Elsa for helping to make our trip to Iceland outstanding!

Everything was perfect! We stayed on the first level for one night and it was great. We wish we had stayed 2 or 3 nights there. It is super cute inside and the location is perfect. We absolutely loved our stay. We also arrived a few minutes early and met Elsa, the owner. She was lovely. We also really appreciated that there was a parking spot for our rental car.

Everything was truly awesome. The only thing I can think of that would make it better, would be a washer/dryer….but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us on this trip.
