House of the Snowbird

Die Lage der Wohnung war einfach perfekt, direkt in der City. Uns hat die Einrichtung besonders gut gefallen. Es war wunderschön mit den eigenen Kunstgegenständen der Wohnungsinhaberin dekoriert.

This was our second stay in the House of the Snowbird, and it was again perfect. The house itself is super cute, and the appartement was again so nicely equipped abd decorated. The location is perfect, in the heart of Reykjavik, so one can safe a rental car.

This was an absolutely beautiful property in an excellent central city location. The host, Elsa, was wonderful and attentive, and gave us all the information we needed for the property, as well as the local area. Would recommend the House of the Snowbird to anyone visiting, and we would definitely stay here again!

Full of character, we loved learning about the history of the property. Very tastefully decorated and well appointed. Lovely artworks. Great location, with loads of restaurants nearby, and close to the Harpa concert hall. Very responsive host, good to meet her. Charming pottery studio and shop beneath. Fantastic stay, would definitely return.

We loved our stay. Due to the nature of the property and its age, we could hear other guests moving around upstairs, but this didn’t detract from a great stay.

The atmosphere of the place, the location, parking availability, and communication were excellent.

If you open the door outward, water runs onto the floor. But it’s easy to remove :)

The room had a kitchen and we supplied the food. Location was in city centre, easy access to everything.
