Lakshmi Family Villa

Lakshmi family is amazing, Lilith good plans and advise were really game changer during our stay in Srilanka. We rented a tuktuk with them and it was wonderful. Lakshmi cuisine and explanation about the food and culture are really great to discover Srilankan’s culture and really have the local taste of the country Thanks !

Room was clean and just 5 minutes walking from the beach. They provide me picking up airport service. Breakfast and Dinner were delicious.

The owner arrange everything you need during your stay in Sri Lanka: transport, tuk tuk rental, but you have to bargain the prices.

From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Thank you to your beautiful family for having us. The room was lovely, comfortable beds and nice bathroom! Thank you for cooking us delicious authentic Sri Lanken meals- the food was amazing! Would definitely recommend staying here 😊

We stayed here at the start of travelling around sri lanka, and had to include it on our last few days. The meals provided by laksmi are exceptional. And they are well priced. We couldn't match them anywhere. They are very good hosts and are so happy to share local information about getting around. The prices for accommodation and meals if you need ,can't be matched. If you are travelling on a budget this is value for money and a lot of love in return. Will be spreading the word about Lakshmi Family villas.

Lakshmi is always updating, and the rooms are to suit your needs. Nothing to dislike.

Have stayed here on a couple of occasions and have done previous reviews. Great value for money, can't beat it .Lakshmi would have to be the most traditional recipe chef in sri lanka, more spice please and fish curry is superb .Mama and papa are the best. Good luck for the future. ❤️ .

Hospitality was exceptional, very welcoming and helpful for arranging ongoing travels.The food that Laksmi and her mother creates is absolutely michelin star worthy.sri lankan fisherman meals at their best 👌. Breakfast and dinner, very economical. Very ,very friendly family that share a lot of love ❤️.

We have had a lovely stay at Lakshmi Family Villa. Wish we could stay longer. Lakshmi and her family are the friendliest people we ever met and we highly recommend this family for budget stay. Will come back again in our next trip!

Lakshmi was so friendly and helpful the whole time I stayed, I even came back to stay a second time before leaving the airport. She was a wonderful host, going out of her way to help me - she even took me to a local shopping centre when I needed to buy clothes. The rooms each time were very clean and comfortable with nice bathrooms. I highly recommend staying here and having food cooked by lakshmi as well, every meal was delicious. Her husband Lalit is very reliable for airport pickup/drop off and prices for the nighttime/early morning are reasonable, you can negotiate a bit for the daytime using the local version of Uber.

The room was $10 per night and was clean and spacious. But it didn’t have a/c. Had a fan so I thought it would be ok. But the room was very hot during afternoon and cooled little at night. Not sure if they have a/c room. Next time I would pay more to get a/c room. It’s just too hot. Maybe rainy season would be ok

We are well travelled but we had never been to Sri Lanka before. It was a little daunting as for the first time we are travelling with our five month old son. When we arrived at the villa the family were so welcoming and made the beginning of our travels so easy. They collected us from the airport, and the communication was great. They told us all about negombo and about the people there. I loved hearing so many stories about the area. It's definitely a better way to discover the real Sri Lanka, you feel like you are staying in a locals home but you do have privacy too. Honestly some of the most friendly people we have ever met. Lakshmi makes incredible food - both breakfast and dinner. They also dropped us off in bentota after our stay with them. All of this for an incredibly good price. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend them to everyone!
