Perfect place to spend the night when arriving in the country. Lalith and the whole family make you feel likw home. Plus, he helped us and managed the tuktuk rental and the license. He also helped us with the purchase of a sim card and with the transport from and to the airport. 100% recommended!!

Lakshmi’s Family was our first destination in Sri Lanka and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to start our travels. When we arrived, Lalith, the husband, picked us up at the airport in the middle of the night, which was super convenient for us and helped us to get local SIM cards. The wonderful Lakshmi made us delicious breakfast (a different one each day, so we would learn about all the choices we will have in Sri Lanka) and dinner. Ask for the coconut pancakes and hoppers, they are to die for! Last of all we spontaneously decided to rent a tuk tuk from the family to drive around the island for the next four weeks. Lalith helped us to get our licenses fixed and gave us a free tuk tuk lesson. What else can you wish for?

We really felt at home with this family! The room and the bathroom are quite big. Breakfast is very good and they explain to you every dish they bring. We had the opportunity to choose and buy fresh fish at the fish market in the morning and Lakshmi cooked it deliciously for dinner. They can organise for you boat tour in the lagoon, tuktuk/bike/motorbike rental to wander around, Ayurvedic and Spa treatments. More, they can arrange for you different tours around, pick-up at the airport and more. They're a really nice family, I would strongly recommend to those who want to experience a true srilankan family instead of an impersonal hotel in the area.

WiFi is a bit slow sometimes.

We arrived late in the evening and Lalith collected us from the airport in his tuktuk as they provide an airport shuttle service which is so nice after a long travel day somewhere new. Lalith, his wife Lakshmi and mother in law Selin made us feel so welcome and made delicious breakfast, Tea and coffee. I was unwell during the stay and Lakshmi made me ginger tea and checked on me which was such a kind comfort. Lalith helped us to arrange tuktuk licenses/tuk tuk/SIM cards and even gave us a little driving lesson too. Lalith really helped set us up for our onward journey and we couldn’t be more grateful. We couldn’t have been happier to spend our first jet lagged/organising day here and plan to spend the last night of our trip here too!.
