OYO Gran Canaria Hotel

Location is great, staff was friendly

We booked a room with bunk bed for the kids and the bed didn’t feel safe and sturdy and was squeaking at every movement. Also , other guests at the hotel were having a party until 2 am that kept us awake

The staff were friendly, the room was spacious and the location was very central.

The hotel was very noisy, from the sound of the lift, the bathroom next door and the bedroom opposite, the noise was still going on at 1am.

Not great, very disorganised. We had a booking that should have been cancelled apparently as they had a school using the hotel. Made to pay when we arrived as they said they hadn’t had the money from OYO via Expedia… I will be looking into this when we get back. Rooms smell like old caravans, linen was clean but the toilet leaked, bear wires exposed. Generally not good impressions!!

The room was dirty, the window was broken. Someone came into my room during the night with a key and said he had stayed there before which is why he had the key to my locked door. Then proceeded to ask me why I was lying in bed with my light off. Definitely stay away from this place unless you want to be uncomfortable and robbed.

There was nothing I liked about this tripped that was booked.We should have stayed and was charged for 2 nights.We left at 7.30 am the next day and didn't return back to the hotel.
