Very kind and helpful landlords, especially when my wife got sick they gave us a hand in the most important moment. The place is in good location, walking distance from main landmarks. Beautiful house furnished in style - highly recommended!

The facility is very clean and comfortable. The design is great. The owner & the staff are very welcoming and kind. Perfect location although only 1 car can pass by the homestay, otherwise scooter is perfect.

There was no hot water and it gets super noisy in the morning (5am ish) because of mosques

Palm Kipas was a quiet and calm oasis away from the business of central Jogja. Close to great restaurants, coffee shops, art and antiques. Beautifully cared for and well appointed property with lush green surrounds and the kindest hosts. It was an absolute pleasure to stay here.

Located very close to a mesjid so loud and early wake-ups should be expected from the calls to prayer.

The room is pretty quiet at night, spacious. Has a patio.

- they did mention there is a broadcast of praying music nearby very early, 6:30am/7am ish every morning. I didn’t hear much of that due to ear plug. However I think it should be communicated before the booking. - It’s small bnb style in my opinion, you are not likely get any services that hotel provided. That’s fair, but I guess I thought this is more. - The staff wasn’t very helpful either, I told them I was bitten at night, and it’s not mosquitoes bites, I worry it might be bed bug, they basically said it must be mosquitoes and don’t plan to do anything until I insist multiple times, the staff talked to the owner and said they will change the bedding as well as spray some bug repellent.

Palem Kipas is absolutely beautiful, and Djodi is so kind and calm. The design of the house and the garden will give you the most amazing stay. Also very near by everything. A must go to if you visit Yogya, don’t miss it!
