Wifi is slow

Quite possibly the cleanest property I've ever stayed at, and that's not an exaggeration. Extremely clean and very thoughtfully designed. Centrally located with several restaurants and minimarts within walking distance, although it's in a narrow alley and taxis are not really able to drive up to the property. The shower was hot, the bathroom was comfortable, the WiFi was good, and the desk, chairs, and fridge were really nice to have. Also one of the only properties in Indonesia that has more than 1-2 electrical outlets, which was also welcome!

Although it's very cozy, the rooms are right next to each other in a hallway and also above the residence, and there's no soundproofing, so you can hear doors slamming from time to time, especially in the very early morning (although this might have been due to the Ramadan schedule). I would suggest not placing guests next door to each other when other rooms are empty, and instead spacing the guests apart. The bed was okay but not great, and the pillows were so-so. The main issue with this property is the extremely loud mosques nearby of which there are several, so you are guaranteed not to sleep from 3:00am-5:00am during Ramadan and perhaps 4:00am-5:00am during non-Ramadan months. A cute and charming place for short stays, but the noise certainly is a pretty big drawback to comfort level.

The property was immaculate! It was roomy, private, bright, clean, nicely furnished and peaceful. I would highly recommend it.

We ended up changing last minute from a cheap hostel to this place to treat ourselves to a comfortable stay (after a few weeks of roughing it) and we are SO glad we did! Every detail is thought out, easy check in/check out, incredibly friendly and accommodating staff who helped us hire a motorbike and left us goodies. So much space to lay out our suitcases and very very clean! The bathroom is gorgeous. We felt right at home here. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. The property is well kept and secure. 10/10 and would recommend to anyone! If we come back to Yogyakarta we will definitely be staying here again. Also there’s an excellent Mediterranean restaurant right nearby if you’re a foreigner looking for western and/or vegetarian food that we LOVED and ordered from/went to most nights. Perfect 👌🏻

House very nice n beautiful

The homestay is exactly as described. We had a nice big room, which was incredibly clean. We stayed 8 nights and had 8 different, very tasty, lovingly prepared breakfasts. In walking distance there are some nice restaurants and you can also walk to tourist attractions like Taman Sari or the Sultan's Palast.
