Bohemian Gardens Hotel

Overall- Smaller hotel, clean, modern with friendly staff. All inclusive option is decent cocktails are good but sweet, ciders aren’t included as well as certain spirits like martini, still plenty of options. Hotel is set away from the main strip of Protaras but plenty of bars/beach around the hotel. Tip: Hire a buggy for the day and explore the island more to Cyprus than protaras strip and Ayia Napa, also the trip to Varosha ghost city is a must. 4/5 Rooms- Really modern and very clean beds are fairly comfy and the rooms are cleaned every day. Little on the small side but still managed to fit everything in for 2 weeks. 5/5 Pool- Clean pool and area, plenty of sun beds the toilets around the pool are immaculate too which is rare in some hotels. 5/5 Food- I’m a fussy eater but there was something to eat every night. It’s not inedible like other reviews say it’s just repetitive which is like any other AI hotel. Every night was a different theme The snack bar on an afternoon serves good food at a decent portion. 4/5 Staff- Really friendly staff shout to Max, Monica and Kabita and Tomos for making us feel welcome for 2 weeks! We will definitely be returning to Bohemian Gardens.

The hotel is lovely and clean and the smell in the reception is amazing (and so is the lovely reception staff) rooms are the same they are cleaned every day, beds made also and clean towels everyday as well. The beds and the pillows are amazing its the best every sleep i have had on holiday. like most people say the food is repetitive, but there wasn't one day or night that we didn't find anything to eat, best night for us was the Mexican food. as this isn't a fully all-inclusive hotel, you need to wait on the staff to come ask for drinks, (normally AI hotels you just help yourself) which some nights we had finished our meals before we got asked. not taking anything away from all the waiting staff they are all lovely and really friendly. you pay 20 Euro for bed towels which you hand in at the end of the day and you are given fresh towels (which smell amazing) for the following day, your 20 Euro is given back at the end of the holiday. the only thing i would say anything about is the sun loungers they are very uncomfortable, they could be doing with padded covers on them as i had to go and buy a blow up cushion for my back for the first 4 days, but after that we did manage to get a cabana most days and these have really good padded covers for the beds. poll area is cleaned every morning by the lovely cleaners, and also the poolside toilets are lovely and clean all the time. We are defo returning to the hotel next summer we enjoyed it that much.

Arrived at Hotel on 30th September 1pm in the morning after a very long day traveling was greeted by Nicholas very friendly funny joking man checked in easy went straight to room with a pool view wot a bonus room 618 very clean all newly furnished air con which u need was so hot 36 on the first day all staff from cleaners bar staff restaurant staff reception staff were so friendly nothing was a problem Krasimira and Androniki and the afternoon evening lady didn't get her name were great definitely will go back to hotel think it's the best hotel we have stayed in towels every day for pool 20euros but u get that back clean towels for shower wen leaving stayed for 10 days we walked to fig tree bay took anout 40 min taxi back to hot to walk lovely beach go early by 10 o clock it's packed no sunbeds little cove beach just down from hotel was nice sea was so warm again go early or no sunbeds 7.50 euros 2 beds 1 umbrella protaras not to far away long strip of shops bars restaurants plenty going on great holiday thank u Bohemian Gardens Denise and kev

The hotel is amazing, clean, good size, the pool was a good size. Check in was very smooth and easy. Room was spectacular and spacious, clean. There is so much cupboard space the mini fridge in the room was good. Food was amazing

First time visitors as two couples for a ten night stay all inclusive. Very impressed with the hotel in general. Exceeded our expectations. Lovely and clean. Smells amazing - even the pool towels. Friendly staff. Assistant manager is always helping out in any area that is busy - even took time to sit with us and chat to us one evening. Our room was fantastic - 527. Massive super comfy bed, plenty of space, lovely bathroom and view of the sea from the good sized balcony. We did not expect the food to be so good, but we could not fault the all inclusive options. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels across Cyprus, and Bohemian gardens may be smaller, but the flavours were outstanding and meats cooked to perfection. We tried all items and there is a good option of traditional Cypriot food and items catered more to the Brits. Have to mention the roast potatoes as they were delicious. Food is always kept topped up and always warm. Good choice of homemade deserts also. Only thing that let the hotel down a little was the drinks. Way too syrupy and sweet. Hit and miss with how strong they would be and made without care at times. There was the option to buy some branded drinks if you wanted, we did this on occasion. Everyone is great at sharing and leaving lilos and pool games for others when they leave. Would be a nice idea to have a cabinet or bookcase where we could leave left over sun cream/books/toiletries etc for others, as have seen this in other hotels and was appreciated. First time visit to Pernera. What a gem. Beautiful small cove like beaches with cheap sunbed and parasol options and far more relaxed than the hustle and bustle of Protaras. Bars local to the hotel that are friendly and good for evening options are Spectrum, Mojito, Station Bar and Tipsy o Turtle - plenty to keep you entertained if you don’t fancy the low key hotel entertainment. Walk to the town area of Permera in around ten minutes and there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants also. Did visit Protaras was 12 euro each way in a taxi - very busy and catered to the Brit abroad. Pernera had more of a locals feel to it. We will definitely return to this hotel.

We just returned from a week's stay at this hotel. The overall impression is quite bad for what we had expected. We had all inclusive - breakfasts were the same every day and the selection was small. Lunches and dinners lacked flavor, were weak and most of the dishes were repetitive. When we asked for a drink, they made it so strong that it was not drinkable at all, even though they had time to order. It happened to us that we were finished eating and they didn't even serve us. I would mainly mention the bar - I specifically remembered a lady named Daniela. She was absolutely killing us with her eyes, unsmiling... the drinks were unbalanced, just let them mix it quickly and have peace. Unfortunately, after a few days we went to the city or the beach for food and drinks and it can't be compared. You can say that we didn't use the all inclusive at all and for the money that no one will ever give us back, we expected more. When we were leaving, they didn't even ask us how we were doing during our stay - just hand over the card and say bye. But we probably expected that, since we greeted them every day and they didn't. Unfortunately, this hotel was a big disappointment for us.
