"Exceptional"

One of the loveliest venues I have ever been to and I work in events and seen many weddings in the DMV area. Truly beautiful views and the rooms and staff were incredible. Can’t recommend it enough. A very lovely town just up the road with shops and a nice market. Karlas restaurant was also a great spot for breakfast. Will definitely be back.

They took a long time to refresh our room on our second day so we had to call down for cleaning. And while they cleaned we had to wait outside the room which wasn’t ideal after a day of walking around. On our first day our bed only had one sheet that was soo small for the king size bed it was on, so we had the mattress cover for the most part which made for an uncomfortable sleep.

Every thing was perfect except for the mattress. It was so soft that you would sink way to far into it, literally no support at all.

"INCREDIBLY LOUD"

This hotel is a mockery of “luxury accommodation”. If you dare booking anywhere near wedding season, you will not be able to sleep in the room you are likely paying upwards $1k/night to sleep in until after midnight when the dance floor dies down. The staff is rude and unhelpful. Strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere

"Expensive but with the quality of a cheap motel"

Old sheets were left on bed under new sheets with the fitted sheet on top of the non-fitted sheet. Very uncomfortable but did not take bedding apart until morning to discover what staff had done. Hand held shower broken. Conditioner dispenser in shower would not pump. Front desk advertises 24 hour service but upon arrival waited 5 minutes for anyone to arrive. Room service brought worst bagel we have ever eaten. Odette's food pricy but not good.

The Riverhouse is a beautiful location. A great restaurant and a fine bar on the roof. The free bicycles on the canal Trail were a very big plus.
